STREET ART EXPERIENCE

Duration: 1.5hrs

Our STREET ART EXPERIENCE operates fortnightly and is open to everyone who has an interest in learning more about Melbourne's underground creative cultures.

The session starts with a VIP studio tour of the famous Blender Studios. You will be shown around the labyrinth of art spaces that is home to 30 different artists across a variety of mediums - including street artists and graffiti artists. The Blender Studios has operated alongside the street art movement in Melbourne for over 17 years. Exploring the studios offers an authentic insight into the lives and practices of Melbourne's artists.

After some light refreshments, the group will then get a spraypainting demonstration from one of our Blender artists in our private street art laneway. The group will be shown how to spraypaint stencils as well as a variety of different basic spraypainting techniques. Everyone will then get the chance to paint their own piece of street art onto a canvas, using stencils from our stencil library.
